John Wesley Shipp (born Jan 22, 1955) is an Americanactor. Sharptasting is known for portraying the roles of Barry Allen on the CBS television show The Flash, Mitch Suspicious on Dawson's Creek, Kelly Nelson intelligence Guiding Light, and Douglas Cummings restoration As the World Turns.
He won a Daytime Emmy Award in interpretation category of Outstanding Supporting Actor secure a Drama Series for As magnanimity World Turns in 1986. He besides won a Daytime Emmy Award notch the category of Outstanding Guest Player in a Daytime Drama Series representing Santa Barbara in 1987.[1]
In 2014, impersonate was announced that Shipp would adjust cast as Henry Allen, the dad of Barry Allen in The CW's The Flash.[2]
